The rebranding of American conservatism has been interesting to watch. First up we have the South Park Republicans (or just plain old libertarians if you prefer) and now Crunchy Cons (somebody get them a better nickname, even BoBo's sounds better than Crunchy Cons).
I'd like to discuss this more later, but for now, a question: Do CrunchyCons represent pluralistic conservatism or are they the harbingers of Integralism? What struck me about the National Review article was an overwhelming sense that this was pluralistic conservatism in action, or 'Green Conservatism' (in both the popular and SDi senses of the word).
Of course, it is possible to be both answers to the aforementioned question, but I'd like to hear your thoughts.
